Other recipes are very complicated, yet turn out disgusting. I made the fennel soup because I love fennel, and it was disgusting! Seriously one of the grossest things I have ever tried.
UPDATE: so I find emails that are to be downloaded from there for these bonus items, although there was never anything to indicate they were being sent by email vs a straight download. While I haven't yet looked at the recipes, I'm hopeful based on what was described within the book.
NOT worth it!
hCG phase II can feel like extreme deprivation sometimes, so I really appreciate the author's creativity with the recipes -- it's amazing what she did with one lean protein, one veggie, and one fruit.
I also enjoyed her introduction and overview of the diet & its phases in general. She told me some things that my doctor didn't (I'm seeing a physician weekly for the diet).
Overall a nice resource and worth every penny.
