Cats Go Nyan says:
Which is better? Would there be a noticeable difference in video quality compared to HDMI?

Not really. I possess both the OEM audio component cable and an HDMI cable. I'm unsure if it's the manufacturer that makes a difference--- my HDMI cable is by Mediabridge. But the difference is minimal, close to unnoticeable. And I tried them on 3 different display settings: 720p, 1080i and 1080p. I guess a more in-depth preference is when capturing game footages. Other than that, either one works very well.
