We’re the arts center in the center of Historic Downtown. We have three galleries, a gift shop, a self-serve wifi café, library, kids art studio, and three classrooms—digital (coming soon), painting, and pottery—in the historic 1925 City Hall building. Come visit us to see free art exhibitions, take cool classes, and attend fun events! We plan to repaint our walls next January and hope never put another hole in them. That's where this hanging system comes in! We'll be able to hang art without any nails. Help us make the art center walls beautiful and exhibits easier to switch out.
Some of the walls in our Miller Gallery already have wooden molding that is supposed to be a hanging system, but we've never had the equipment to hang anything. These hooks and cables will allow us to use the hanging system that is already in place.
We often have events, like the Holiday Bazaar, and art classes, but we don't have enough 6-foot tables to meet our needs. Please help us by buying these 6-foot tables. They are light, so we can move them around easily, AND they fold for easy storage!
Gallery lighting is very important. Please help us keep lights stocked, so when one goes out right before an opening, we have another one on hand to replace it, instead of having to drive frantically to the store with minutes to spare.
We have different tracks throughout our building. Unfortunately, the light canisters are not interchangeable. Standardizing the tracks is the long-term goal, but in the short-term, we need a few more canisters for one of our galleries. Please help!
We would love to be a 21st century organization with the ability to have interactive stations in the galleries, take orders from our gift shop with a portable iPad, and so many other digital goals. You can help make this happen with a new iPad. :)
