Unfortunately, this case exaggerates the portly feel and profile of the Sero. The material is layered so that the combined thickness of the tablet and the case come to almost exactly one inch. The storage loop for the stylus also places the stylus in a spot where it obstructs finger access to the on-off-sleep switch of the tablet. The switch can be reached, but for those of us with larger fingers, it's hit-or-miss. Also, the magnet that holds the case closed is very weak, so the case sometimes flops open.
The biggest disappointment has been that the case is so floppy despite its bulk. There is a slight edge tab that is supposed to nest in one of three slots to hold the tablet in "landscape" orientation on a flat surface. I find I don't use that feature much; it's a bit of a nuisance getting the tab into the slot correctly, because of how floppy the design is. Also, touching the screen tends to disengage the tab from the slot, so the tablet either slips to a different angle or flops flat. Still, I find I need the support positions for viewing video, in particular. So this case seems like the only choice, or was at the time of my order.
The wrap around magnetic closure is strong and holds the cover closed. Even if I grab the tablet by the edge of the cover alone, the weight of the tablet is not enough to open the cover. We haven't had this long enough to evaluate the durability of the cover, however, since we handle the tablet delicately and with caution, I would expect the cover to hold up.
Never mind those who get stuck on meticulous hagglings of the ungrateful & have fun exploring the world wide web! I am.
