Final Update:. This company did the right thing and refunded me for the purchase. I ended up getting the LifeProof armband as a replacement. It cost almost $40 but is likely what you need if you are a moderate to avid runner.

Today I ran with this armband and the strap came apart. All that is now holding it together is the flimsy neoprene. This armband is now useless after only a few weeks of use! I included a photo as well. If your any kind of runner don't buy this product.

This armband seems to be fine. I have bought at least three of these in the past from other companies and they all seem like they come from the same manufacturer. At around $9 - $10 I really can't complain if it only lasts 9 - 12 months. I run 5Ks and go to the gym 4 times per week and the armband thus far isn't showing too much wear. Most importantly it holds tight to the upper part of the arm during my runs and workouts. In the past, from other armbands I have bought, I have found that the neoprene will begin to rip and the velcro loses its strength, but as I previously said this is typically at the 9 - 12 month mark. It also has a handy key holder which is very useful. I do wish they would come out with a more rugged armband that doesn't use neoprene and velcro straps, I would gladly pay 4 times the cost for that!

Black dye bleeds onto skin! Key slot ripped too.

I like the design overall. Only wish the plastic didn't cling to the screen, which makes the phone difficult to remove. Would really love this if it had a card holder too. But now for the bigger problems, which totally trumps any positives. The key slot ripped after the second time using it. I usually always run with a single key vs. my whole key ring in a pocket so this was a bummer. The biggest problem I have with this though is the black dye! Everytime I run, the black coloring gets on my arm. No other arm band has ever done this! And to make it worse, it's not like a quick rinse a it's gone. I have to scrub with soap (see images but they don't do justice). I do sweat a good bit so maybe others aren't having the issue, but because of this, I will never buy an i2 gear product again.
