I built my own home remedy. I use hook loop fasteners. I just put some on the car visor and both sides of the sunshade and I can then position it any side I want. otherwise this sunshade will just collapse after a while.
UPDATE July 2017
The shade is performing very nicely in the hot weather. Also adds a great deal of privacy when just sitting in your car during a lunch break, a nap break, sleep break or stuffing your face break.

To those having problem storing it in the provided bag:
1) Stack the two circular frames together (should be obvious), so it looks more or less rectangular/square.
2) Fold down top to bottom, so you have a shallow U shape with a loop on left and right.
3) Bend the two loops together like you're bending the two arms of the U to the bottom.
4) Hold the above in place (should be one third in size of the original U) and stuff to the bag.
