It sits low above the cup holder, so tall drinks are tricky to get in and out when my phone is on the stand. This, however, would be a concern with any other phone holder that attaches to the CD slot. Other than that, the stand is stable, and I didn't have to use the additional attachment for stability. I am thrilled with it, since I don't want anything on my windshield or on top of the dashboard, it just doesn't work there. Also, I had a stand on top of my dashboard, and I had to reach to be able to manipulate the phone (and I have long arms :) ) I don't use the CD slot and that whole area of my console, so this is a great solution.

The product as a product seems very good, made of good sturdy material but it’s a way too wobbly even after installing the small adapter. Fortunately I had my old Scosche Magicmount Dash Mount just underneath which makes it perfect now otherwise I’d just return it.
