Before attaching the Easy One Touch 6 Dash & Windshield Mount, wipe the surface clean so that there is no dirt, dust, oil, or water that will prevent the dashboard pad or suction cup from sticking.

*There is no need to use the dashboard pad when mounting the Easy One Touch on your windshield.

Using the Dashboard Pad

Remove the plastic cover from the dashboard pad, and press the pad firmly and evenly on your desired mounting location. Maintain pressure for at least 30 seconds to ensure a secure hold.

The Dashboard Pad is designed for one-time use only!

Please Note that this product is not designed to be used on leather dashboards. If you have a leather dashboard, we recommend mounting the Easy One Touch 6 on your windshield.

    The holder seems to work fine, and easily accommodates my Pixel 9Pro. The part that fit into the CD slot (yes, my car is that old) was very curved, I assume to make it fit more securely. I had to flatten it by hand to get it to fit into the slot. The "push-to-secure" function that holds the phone works well. I dinged it 1/2 star because in my bouncy car on my crappy roads, it vibrates enough to be annoying. OK for basic navigation but if you need to read a street name or such it can be difficult. I dinged a second 1/2 start because Amazon sent one with a big sticker on the box thanking me for saving landfill space by buying an "Amazon refurbished product", even though the listing did not mention that it was refurbished (nor does the "Buy It Again). I'm actually really pissed about it, and may return it to Amazon for that reason.

      This iOttie CD slot mount is exactly what I needed! It installs easily, holds my phone securely even on bumpy roads, and keeps the screen at a perfect, safe viewing height. I love that the design leaves the charging port fully accessible, so it’s easy to plug in a charging cord while the phone is mounted. It’s super adjustable and feels very sturdy. Just a heads up — depending on your dashboard layout, it might block a few buttons near the CD player, but it wasn’t a problem for me.       Easy to install, easy to manipulate, decent manufacturing, and worked great for me. With the articulation, you can adjust to your dash height and line of sight. Big enough to hold my giant phone. After a couple years, the bolt that keeps the phone upright would get loose occasionally (every few months,) but it was a simple matter of tightening it again. After 4 years of service it wasn't the adhesive that gave, but the suction cup, which had degraded after so many Pennsylvania summers. Well worth the price I paid. The mounting pad and adhesive was actually a bit of a pain to remove but I did get it off with a little work. They tell you not to mount on leather but I don't have much of a choice there, and I don't care much about the cheap leather of my 10 year old car. You might be able to buy a replacement suction cup but I just bought the newer model (which seems to be similar in quality.)

      This is a GREAT product! I put this off to the bottom corner of my driver side windshield and it allows me to have a full, unobstructed view. I can place it in multiple positions and once I find what I like, I tighten the screw and it stays. It has not fallen off since I ordered it and I love that I am not messing up my dashboard or obstructing the airflow. It is well worth its price!

      Upcoming complaints aside, I've enjoyed this product for what I payed for it. Given, I purchased it discounted through the Treasure Truck. Aside from two main issues, I'd recommend getting this while it's on sale if you want an easy to use mount for an affordable price. Those issues being the adhesive pad and the suction cup to mount arm assembly.
      My main problem is that after barely over a year, the product failed on me the other day. The included plastic disc to which you would mount the suction cup has a sort of silicone or similar based 'sticky-pad' to adhere the plastic base to a dashboard. Admittedly, it took more time than I'd have liked to get it to initially stick (it does tell you to hold it down with pressure for a time to achieve proper adhesion) but once it stuck, it's stayed stuck until now. With summer approaching, the sun is getting stronger here in Texas in the Southern United States. My sun-shade failed on me last year as it started shedding it's material in small flakes all over the place (but that's another review for another product for another time) and so this year I don't have one as of yet. First hot day, and the pad lost adhesion and detached from my dashboard, ripping slightly in the process, causing me to find the mount on my floorboard the next time I entered the car. On the bright side, the pad did not damage my dashboard in any way in the last year. But since, it has refused to regain adhesion. Long story short, if you live anywhere with hot summers (or late springs), then be sure to have some sort of shade for your windshield to protect the device when you aren't in the car. I'm currently having to look for a replacement, but iOttie does not seem to sell replacement 'sticky pads' after a search here on Amazon, my only option seems to be a set of generic 3M replacement pads.
      The only other problem is where the suction cup connects to the rest of the device. It's not entirely 'perfect' and is actually slightly lose and gives the device some side to side sway with just enough give to cause your phone to sometimes end up at a less than ideal angle. It's not so much as to be a huge deal, I'm sure it can be ignored, but I for one unfortunately can't. I'm mildly OCD so if things aren't 'right' and as they should be, I can't ignore them. So small things like a few degrees in rotation is very distracting to me. Very bad while driving. I generally just chalk it up to a manufacturing defect and try to just live with it, but I feel that it's worth noting to prospective buyers just in case.
      All in all, it gets a pass from me as a decent product especially if you keep in mind it's aversion to direct sunlight and heat when it doesn't have the benefit of AC running. I payed $17 for it if I remember correctly and despite the small problems, I have no regrets purchasing it.

      Bought the first gen of this back in 2019. It fell off maybe one time, but otherwise performed flawlessly in the 6 years I had it. The tab on the left that held the phone in broke as I snapped the phone in place. I think the repetition of how fast the tabs snap on the phone weakened the tab over time. Still 5 stars though. 20 dollars for 6 years of use, I’ll make that investment any day.

      Fan depuis longtemps du simple support de smartphone qui se fixe sur la grille d'aération j'ai du malheureusement trouver une autre solution lorsque j'ai acheté mon iPhone XS: il tient toujours mais à cause du poids de l'appareil la grille d'aération bouge lors de tournants appuyés... ce qui devient vite agaçant sur une route de montagne... Donc après une recherche sur le net ce système-ci me convenait le mieux: fixation dans le slot CD de mon autoradio où de toute façon je n'ai plus inséré de CD depuis des années (vive les clés USB ;))
      Première réflexion en déballant le produit: "heu mais c'est un minuscule embout en plastique qui doit tenir tout le bazar, ça tiendra jamais ce truc!". En plus il s'agit d'un système pivotant qui, d'expérience ont une fâcheuse tendance à lâcher lors des forts tournants ou sur route dégradée. Je l'ai essayé quand même et je suis étonné: solide comme un roc, mon iPhone XS ne bouge pas d'un poil (sauf une légère vibration sur route très dégradée, ce qui est assez normal).
      Le seul bémol que je peux lui trouver c'est qu'une fois le smartphone en place cela cache un peu l'affichage de l'autoradio mais bon si on est pas du genre à changer de poste toutes les 5 minutes cela ne pose pas vraiment de problème.

      スマホを置く部分の作りはしっかりしていて
      使い始めてから今のところスマホが落ちたことは有りません。

      排出口に取り付ける部品はガタガタしていて上手く取り付けられず
      両面テープの物に関しては商品紹介用画像の通り「高さ」が無い為
      上手い事斜めになっている平面がダッシュボードに無い場合、使えません。
      車種に大分作用されると思います。

      私の場合は前から使っていたホルダー用の土台アーム部品と本品スマホホールド部品を
      組みあわせて使っており、問題なく使えています。

      スマホホールド部分は★５で
      エアコン排出口部品&両面テープ部品は★１でした。
