Not THAT slippery

Only had this for a day so my review could change but I wanted to stop the naysayers. I almost didn't purchase this product because of the limited reviews and most everyone saying that it's too slippery. It's not. It has a very nice feeling finish that is smooth but has very little chance of jumping out of my hand like a wet bar of soap. I'm sure if you have really really dry skin it may be slick but I am having no problem holding onto it. The added bulk of the case helps my grip too. Will it slide around in your car? Yes! I don't set my phone on my dash or ON a flat surface, I place mine in a cubbyhole. What is really nice about this phone is I can slip it into and out of my jeans quite easily. I'm a guy and I usually put my phone in my front pocket and any case that is tacky or gripping will be difficult to insert or remove. The last wireless charging case I bought was from Spigen and other than the fact that at 2 months the charge coil quit working, I never liked the way it felt in my hand. It had edges that were very sharp and the bottom removable adapter was also sharp feeling. This case is perfectly smooth all the way around, it feels so nice. My Spigen cradle is not quite aligned for this case but if I lay it sideways, I have had no problems.

[Updated] Unit is not as pictured

While the unit looks about 85% as pictured there were several significant differences to be aware of.
Unlike the buttons shown on the image my unit had cutouts where all the switches are and this makes using the switches difficult to use, buttons as pictured would be a significant improvement.

Since this went on my work phone that does not get used that often it's acceptable with the price I paid on sale, but if it were full price I would have returned it.

Update: Lightning connector broke apart after about 3 months of use and the case is no longer usable

I gave it a shot and I have had zero problems since I bought this in early December 2015. It's durable when dropped too. I recommend this to anyone with an IPhone.

I received this case yesterday 3/14/2019 and installed it on my phone. Today 3/15/2019 I was bending over and my phone fell out of my shirt pocket from about 2 feet above the floor as I was bending over. Unfortunately for me the case did not protect my phone. The screen cracked at the top right corner. Needless to say I'm not very happy!! The same thing happen on numerous occasion with my phone with the previous case (Spigen brand) and I never had a problem. This case is junk when it comes to protecting you phone. DON'T BUY IT, IT IS A PIECE OF CRAP!! By the way I seldom give rating to products but in this case I thought it was necessary.

A durable product

This Qi cover feels more durable than another product that I have purchased. I had two of the other product and they broke the case after a couple of drops and I finally had to order this product because the other product's connection that went into the charging port came apart. I have dropped this product twice with no ill effects.

The connection that goes into the charging port is different on the iOttie iON Wireless Qi Charging Receiver Case Charger Cover. It is definitely more durable and has a good feel to it. The only downside is that it makes your phone longer. Also, another downside is that an extension for the mini audio jack port is necessary because the port is now recessed. An extension is included in this product's packaging, though.

It works great in my Toyota Avalon charging station. Overall a great product.

This case works exactly as described and is doing well after a month or so. My only complaint is that it is slippery and I had to purchase anti-slip grips for the sides and back of it. This was not a real issue and when applied made this already great case even better. I am not able to test the actual charging rate of the case, but it is charging correctly.

I absolutely love this case. I tried the $85 Pond case first, but found the lengthy exterior and the loose connection between the top and bottom a deal breaker. With the iOttie case, it has a muted, understated beauty that cannot be ignored. The grippy texture feels firm in the sweatiest of palms, and the case envelopes the phone with flush cutouts for the switch and camera lens which make it feel like one cohesive unit. The screen gets a tad bit hot to the touch at times during long road trips (I have the iOttie car mount charger as well), but let's be honest... that's of little consequence when you are wirelessly charging your frickin' iPhone on a roadtrip! Hop in and out of the car during rest stops without having to fiddle with plugging in/pulling out a charger chord from your phone. I love it.

I liked it at first, it solved the problem of my Iphone not having the proper charging coil built-in, however, every time I charged it, I got an error message and my phone re-started and had to be "updated." Also, my voice echoed back to me when making a call. I took it off the phone and decided to just charge it with the cord.

I bought this case for an iphone 6. This case is very nice looking and it's great that it has the charging port cover but it does not charge wireless. I have tried in on 3 different wireless chargers and it doesn't work on any of them.

If you are looking for a wireless charger case don't buy this one. If you are looking just for a case with a charging port cover then it's fine.
