Covers the basics on use of the iPad for business, and how tos very well. Has good suggestions for apps. However, in the writers' zeal to evangelize the iPad as a business tool they are quite repetitive. A good dose of editing would help. That said, I really enjoyed their enthusiasm , the included videos and their convincing arguments. They convinced me to replace my dying MacBook with an iPad Mini so they were successful!

Very useful if you want to get the most from your iPad. Written by two guys who share their experience. Pretty basic but lots of suggestions about apps that these geeks use. They recognise that everyone has different needs and so talk about their own differences of opinion and practice.

This book encourages you to revise your computing and productivity habits.
Though not adequate for everyone it gives very useful tips and description of some must-have apps.
I will be doing more on my tabled (Android by the way, not iPad) from now on.
Try Michael's Productivity app called "Nozbe" also.

Recommended for everyone who wants to change their computing habits for the better.

I was skeptical to buy this book but I am glad I did. It contains some good advice. With that being said I found the writing style to be very odd and annoying. The writers constantly repeat themselves about who they are and their accomplishments. Okay guys I got your point the first 10 times you told me. The other several dozen times you repeated yourself fell on deaf ears. I also didn't think it was appropriate for one of the writers to give a big plug for their iPad application suite. Doing so took away credit from the value in the book. And what was the chapter about the iPhone about? Isn't this a book about the iPad? An editor could easily strike that chapter and it wouldn't be missed. I know I sound like I am ragging on the book but that is not my intent. I just thought a potential reader should know this as they open it for a first time. Read it and then move on. Not a candidate for a literature prize.

I enjoyed the book, loaded with tips and tricks. I appreciate their core premise: "your desktop-driven work habits might not be the most efficient, they're just what you've gotten used to using." Therefore, the book has indeed pushed me out of my comfort zone, for the better. However, the book underestimates just how useful a desktop/laptop can be in certain situations. After reading the book, I can in fact use my iPad for MORE, but can I now be totally reliant on the iPad? No, not yet anyway.

I like my iPad and when i saw this book and read the sample, it looked a nice read to learn more on how to take my iPad using to the next level.
The rest of the book continues a bit like the sample, on why they wrote this book and how they work. It's a good book for all that don't know the apple ecosystem and want to know where to search for more, for all that are already geeks then you don't need this book.

I'm also a bit disappointed that the biggest part of this book is publicity to Nozbe, don't get me wrong, I like Nozbe and I have use it, but its too much.

Out of this I take 4 apps that I will check out and the need to try touch typing on my iPad. Haven't got any idea on how to move my work office to my iPad.

The authors do a good job of encouraging a reflective approach to the way we work. Looking at what it is we do, how we do it, and more importantly, whether we need to do it, they evaluate the benefits of using an iPad to accomplish what we have done with computers, scanners and faxes. While the book focuses on the use of an iPad, I strongly suspect that most of what is said is equally applicable to any tablet.

The biggest disappointment of the book is that it's augmented with YouTube videos to expand on key points. In itself, that's not necessarily bad. However, I read the book in Kindle format using the Kindle app on an iPad. The videos were not accessible from the Kindle app on an iPad. That's a shame since they try to make the point that using an iPad can accomplish much of what we've used other, less convenient devices for in the past, but I can't completely enjoy their Kindle book on an iPad.

Thank you gentlemen for this book. I always knew that the iPad would take a prominent place in our work flow, but this book helps in the practicality of doing so. Please continue to issue revisions to this book as the technology changes. I have already implemented a few of the ideas in this book. By the way, I'm writing this review on my iPad. Let the productivity begin. Thank you.
