Tabs don't click into place properly
on October 2, 2013
We have two Chromebooks in the house, so I wanted to get something to make it easy to distinguish whose is whose. So, I got my husband (he's my guinnea pig) a cool set of retro surfing skinz (beautiful, BTW, from Decalrus.com) as well as this clear hard cover since I felt like his Chromebook might need some protection as he works in a warehouse. Well, the bottom half snapped on just fine but the top did not. The tabs don't snap down properly over the top, and tend to pop-out when the top opens or closes. At first, he said he didn't mind (I could not have dealt with it for one second, but like I said, he's the guinnea pig) but he did have to adjust them all the time. Once his uber-cool skinz came in (no, I do not work for Decalrus.com), he didn't want to put the hard case back on. Not because you couldn't see through it but becuase it was a pain to deal with constantly snapping the tabs on the top back into place so that they wouldn't break off. He did put the bottom hard shell back on--he seems to like the little legs--but the top was useless in the end. Oh, and BTW, the top arrived with a scratch about 3-4 inches long. No rubbing it out. I would have returned the item because of this alone, but he said at the time that it did not bother him. Whatever. At the time, this was the only hard case for the Samsung Chromebook--maybe there are others out there now. Thankfully, we have both been fine without a hard (crackable) shell for the last six months or so, and we both haul our Chromebooks around everywhere we go.
