Awesome Upgrade

This is a fantastic upgrade for my travel trailer. The old am/fm/cd had no inputs, no frills, and was quite boring. I decided to upgrade and install this unit. I have two TVs in the trailer and no longer need an HDMI splitter. This feeds both simultaneously and provides the flexibility of having the audio come through the trailers built-in speakers or the TV itself. The bluetooth feature works great while camping for music and the extra inputs provide the flexibility for movies from blu-ray, computer, etc. I highly recommend this, it has been a huge success in my trailer.

Dead on arrival!

Just purchased this unit, went through the trouble of taking out the old Genesis 3.0, hooked up the harnesses and voila...dead. Our DVDs were only recognized for a minute or two and the unit stopped recognizing ANY DVDs there after...what a shame.

What I like:
1. Significant number of inputs
2. Flexible,
3. Sounds good with Bose speakers
4. Connections well laid out.

What I do not like:
1. Remote - doesn't work. Had to press it several times to get it to register (like changing the volume) and seems to have stopped working all together.
2. Blue Tooth: When I turn off the unit, the BT needs to be re-established with the phone .. each time! The unit should just find it. Also, does not display what is playing on the phone (for instance). Many devises do Why not this one?
3. Front display - no way to dim it. It really doesn't tell much other than what the unit is connected to but we know that. It should go dark. Rather, it shows what seems to be sound waves. Very distracting - especially in a dark cabin if watching a film.
4. So many inputs but can't win setup turn the ones off that are not used. So one has to cycle through them all to get the one or two that you want.

Would I buy it again? Probably not unless the above issues are addressed. Simple enough in software.

Big hit with the whole family

After much searching and deliberation on what would suite our needs, we bit the bullet and sprung for this product. My husband is not exactly skilled with wiring which concerned us. But the harness on this fit perfectly with our 2010 Cherokee making installation quick and easy. We love the Bluetooth feature! It allows for us to use our apps to stream music with no problems. The radio seems to come in clear (as much as we have used it this far) DVDs play well. One thing and I don’t know if it’s the machine or the DVDs, we can’t seem to go right to “play movie” which makes the little ones restless at times but no biggie. Overall we could not be more pleased with this product. Wonderful addition to the camper!

We chose this unit to upgrade from an old Concertone in our RV. The wiring harness was not interchangeable but it was easy enough to match up the colored wires. It seemed to work with the minimal, preliminary testing we did but we had to wait for additional cables to complete the setup with the rest of the system. (Plus, the weather was frigid!) Once we could work on it again, it was out of Amazon's return window. Unfortunately, we discovered that it was defective and would not load a DVD. Amazon directed us to Patrick Industries/QAV for warranty support. They promptly sent out a replacement unit with a shipping label for returning the defective unit. We just installed it today and it seems to work fine.

Pro- Great fit and simple replacement of my travel trailers Concertone stereo system. Simple to use from the face or with the remote. Came with direct plug and play wiring. The power cable didn't match the Concertone but was easy to splice the wires together as needed.

Con- bluetooth range is horrible. Barely works from just outside the travel trailer with the door and window close by and open giving it line of sight to my device (both Apple and Android were tested). Some speaker outputs make a humming noise (I tested different speakers to test the output vs the speaker). Fortunately my with the way this trailer is set up it doesn't matter so I just use left and right.

Neutral- The app is very basic but does do as intended.

Install is quick and easy and provides great features and sound quality. I bought an extended warranty due to some reviews that indicate the system does not last beyond a couple of years. Instructions are lacking and customer service is non existent. I tried to connect my existing Remote IR sensor and it does not work. I have emailed the company multiple times and also called and no return contact. I simply wanted to know which remote sensor I should buy. Even with that I still recommend this unit as there are not a lot of options for this type of system. This unit has HDMI and others are still using RCA cables.

Product is as described by the seller. Installed this into my 5th wheel as a replacement for a Concertone zx600 that had failed. The irv66 was a direct fit into the existing cut out and even came with the adapter harness to change over from the old radio. The only issue I have is the remote did not come with the battery but that is not a big issue.
Can not give a 5 star review because it has not been installed long enough at this point
