I cleaned up my iRobot today, replacing the brushes and the debris bin with the aerovac upgrade. Note, we have three cats who enjoy hobbies like shedding hair and depositing small granules of litter from their feet. We need all the help we can get from the Roomba. I noticed that the Roomba sounded slightly different, with less of a high-pitched whine to it. I kept an eye on it to see if it was visibly different. It rolled about as usual, bumping and turning. As it rolled from the wood floor onto an area rug, it picked up some tufts of hair from the edge that it had deposited yesterday while it still had the old bin. I was glad to see this. Normally, I go over a couple areas with the upright vacuum because the robot has left behind little wads of hair. It rolled into the corner over the dust mop which had a bit of hair on the edges and cleaned it up nicely! That was something new. When I emptied the bin upon completion, I had to show off how much the new aerovac upgrade had picked up - more than I usually empty. Now, today is the first day we have used this upgrade but so far, it is exactly what we'd hoped for. Cats, you've met your match.
Update a month later: I have now used the new bin almost daily for the past four weeks. It picks up more hair and actual granular dirt than the previous bin. I am glad for the upgrade. I feel like it has given new life to the Roomba. The brushes have not been clogged to the point of warning me but I can hear the sound change as they start to be clogged. I have removed warm wads of cat-hair. One thing I noticed is that the little arm that opens the bin completely can be knocked of if a person (me) is careless (I was) and bangs is in the trash can too hard (I did). I was able to put it back on without damaging it this time but see I could have broken the small plastic tabs so I will be more careful.

I am still using this product and have not broken the little arm off. It still works great. The filter can be cleaned carefully so it lasts longer.
Update 2015
I clean the filters to increase their life and this upgrade is still fine. I do not empty it roughly and the plastic arm is intact. Best product upgrade I have ever made.

The rubber roller stick (narrow one) would never fit into ...

The rubber roller stick (narrow one) would never fit into my robot. It's obviously bended before, and even after you bending it extremely, it's not gonna fit into the slot.The larger roller stick (wider one) will only fit if you remove one of the yellow ends.
