I just looked back and see that I bought this in June or 2018. Currently it is relegated to my EZ Breeze enclosure as I have the self emptying 3+ for the main part of my house. It's so easy to use that my cat regularly vacuums for me. She is seriously fascinated with this and likes to push the button and then stalk it. Maintenance has been minimal. I replaced the brush motor once which was really easy and not at all expensive. I think I used a 3rd party solution. I think I put new brushes in it once and I replace the filter every so often. It does great on hardwood and even does really well on carpet. In my previous house, I had a berber carpet. It was low pile but I had three long haired mostly white cats and the cat hair would really stick to it. Now it's working with low pile indoor outdoor carpet. I often use the Alexa app to start it, if the cat hasn't vacuumed already. It's been a real time saver over the years. However, if you can swing it, I would recommend the self emptying base. I think the 3+ is the least expensive. That one has maps. I can't really see a reason to buy anything more complicated than the 3+. I bought that one 3 years ago, for our retirement home, and it has been equally trouble free. We are now retired and I vacuum almost every night. It's a little noisy, so I use ear plugs. I really don't think I need to put a new bag in more than a couple of times a year. I do have to clean cat hair out of the rollers and wheels on a regular basis (once a month or so?). These things are built to last!

2 months of having this device, and for me, it gets a hearty recommendation. Having a little robot cleaning my floors was a luxury that I did not realize I needed. Compared to self-cleaning with a swifter, the Roomba wins, hands-down. The app was easy to install. A couple tips:

1.) Empty the tray each time. No need to pick up the Roomba, just squeeze the button on the front and pull it off.
2.) Don't forget about the bristles. Easy to remove, though the hair/junk caught in them can be tricky to get out.
3.) Place your cat on the device while it's running for extra fun.

This Roomba is exactly what i wanted. But since it was connected to someone else's account I cannot connect it to my Roomba App or Alexa. I cannot even do a factory reboot.
It is entertaining because it seemingly runs whenever it wants. it gets the job done but I would like to control it.

One must prepare their house and clean to use this. Cords, drapes, toys etc can suck up into the vacuum. But a few moments of prep work, let this thing bounce around for a little over an hour and you are good.
Our dog likes to dribble dog food. Cereal and food crumbs throughout the days, and Roomba manages to pick everything up.
It's rather surprising how much dirt this thing does gather. After ninty minutes of running our dirt chamber is half full. Three times a week. No one is home for most of the day besides me and the dog and both of us just sit staring at a computer screen or out the window for the most part. When we first got the Roomba it was packed full of dirt. We normally vacuum once a week prior with a cleaner coming twice a month. Suffice to say this Roomba is doing a good job at keeping up with things nicely.
It does bump fairly aggressively at furniture feet so if you have very nice furniture you may want to consider this or adding some rubber felt to the Roomba. It's also not entirely stupid it knows how to work itself around obstacles to ensure they get cleaned like under chair legs.
I enjoy seeing what it gathers after each trip.
Only con is that it rarely finds its way home when it's done.

Wow. Magnificent, best purchase ever!
I got this roomba for the first floor. It’s an open floor plan of hardwood floor with 3 rugs. The docking station I set next to the fireplace in the corner. The first run picked up so much dust, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
I run this every other day to pick up the loose cat food, litter, and fur that I miss from pass vacuuming with the Dyson.
I bought it with the intention to be a supplemental cleaner, and it surpassed my expectations.
The only con is that it sometimes has trouble returning back to the docking station if it’s far away. But in those cases I just manually pick it up and place it back myself. Best $209 ever spent!

Llevo usandola 1 semana aprovechando el Hot Sale 🔥 y quiero recomendarla totalmente, vi muchas reseñas antes de decir el modelo y si ir por iRobot o alguna otra marca y al final con ayuda de un canal de YT (Vacuum wars) ganó Roomba. Cuando tienes perros grandes que juegan y corren en la tierra y que tiran mucho pelo es tedioso barrer porque es casi diario, con roomba me olvidé de eso y los resultados son sorprendentes, con tan solo 2 dias a la semana limpiando sala, cocina, comedor he quedado sorprendido. Tuve que vaciar el deposito de basura y encontré una cantidad extrema de pelo de perro, tierra entre otras cosas, aspira casi todo y de manera muy sencilla. A los perros les asusta al principio pero se van acostumbrado. Los pros de este modelo son la conexión a Wifi, control y comandos a través de la app, horarios establecidos para limpiar y que se regresa a su base a cargar en automático y cuenta con sensor de bordes asi que no se va a ir por las escaleras, tiene indicador de wifi y nivel de batería en la parte de arriba y al frente su sensor de choque para paredes u objetos enfrente de él (si choca con algo cambia de rumbo). También tiene un sensor de tierra/polvo quiere decir que si detecta polvo o tierra se queda aspirando ahi y dando vueltas en esa zona. Sin duda excelente opción tambien para alfombras y pisos de madera.
