About this item

    This fits your .
  • Make sure this fits by entering your model number.
  • Protect your family and household appliance from iron, manganese and more; our 3rd stage filter (FM25B) is specially designed for iron and manganese removal, reducing iron (MAX 3.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm) and manganese (MAX 1.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm); our filter lasts up to 3 times longer than greensand due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process; the system also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, pesticides, herbicides, industrial solvents, VOCs and various other contaminants
  • DIY installation and maintenance - refer to our manual and our helpful YouTube videos for easy DIY installation. With 1 in. NPT inlet / outlet and 20 in. x 4.5 in. filter cartridges, the system has minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires minimum maintenance
  • Top-notch quality - the first stage high capacity polypropylene sediment filter achieves filtration down to 5 microns. The second stage Carbon Block filter is made of high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both are tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards. Both filters have a capacity of 100,000 Gal. of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for a full year.
  • Peace of mind customer service - register online to activate your 1-year manufacturer warranty and life-time free tech support from U.S. local support team; we stand behind our products and if you encounter any problems with any of our products please reach out to us immediately; we are happy to help
  • Please note - this system is installed at the main water supply line in order to treat all the water in your home; unlike an RO system, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water; if you are interested in a filter that removes TDS consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The cartridges are individually wrapped to ensure freshness. Please unwrap the cartridges before use.

5.0 out of 5 stars SULFER SMELL IS GONE!
By resq2piper on August 5, 2018
So far so good! I installed this almost a month ago. I have a 300' deep well at my off-grid cabin in the foothills of western Maine, which is at an elevation of 1100' and was getting the horrible sulfer smell and taste. Original I had a 2 filter system from the big blue chain store. The small filter's would barely last a few days before the smell was back.
Took a chance on this pricey system and as always you get what you pay for.....LOVE IT!!!!
As you can see from the picture, I've installed 2 pressure gauges before and after and so far, they are staying at even pressures so I am not having any problems with pressure loss.
The water taste great, no foul smell and the wife says it makes her hair feel softer 🤣. How do I know it's working, the pre-filter i installed with a 100micron filter stinks something awful when I flush clean it😖.
If I can get a good 3-6 months out of a filter set, It is worth every penny.
I'll update at the end of the season as to my results, but it's looking promising.

5.0 out of 5 stars IRON & MANGANESE GONE!!!
By Paula W. washington on November 9, 2020
Our well water had high numbers of iron and manganese in it: .74 mg/L of iron and .92 mg/L of manganese. Our water had a metallic taste and our toilet, sinks and shower had yellow stains on them; our toilet tank had black stains in it. We purchased this iSpring Water Filtration system that is specifically designed to reduce iron and manganese (Filter FM25B). The installation was very straight forward. My husband is a retired general contractor from California, and he installed this system after watching the YouTube video on the installation. He found the video to be very helpful and the installation to be easy; and we like how compact the system is, fitting into our mechanical room easily. We were disappointed that our system did not have the buttons to release air from each cartridge that were shown on the installation video. We had our water tested by a certified water laboratory after installation of the filters: the iron was reduced to None Detected (ND) but the manganese was not reduced at all. We contacted Nick at the iSpring customer service and he was very responsive and immediately sent out another FM25B filter for us to try. Again, the water test results showed the iron was reduced to ND but the manganese was not reduced at all. Upon hearing these results, Nick sent us a more expensive filter to try, the FCRC25B, which is rated to remove Lead and other heavy metals. This filter proved to reduce both the iron & manganese to ND from our water! A surprise was that this filter also reduced our hardness from 197 mg/L as CaCO3 to ND. We are thrilled with the taste of our water now and Nick has even offered to give us a discount on future orders of the more expensive filter. iSpring worked with us and stood behind their product! I would have given this product 4 stars since the original FM25B filter didn't reduce both the iron & manganese as advertised but Nick at iSpring customer service deserves 5 stars for his professional handling of our problem and working through it with us. P.S. We cleaned the iron and manganese stains off our plumbing fixtures and have had no more staining build-up for the past couple of months!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very efficient depending on the chemical composition of your water.
Reviewed in Canada on November 27, 2021
I had the water analyzed prior to deciding on which filter was the best for my specific scenario. The WGB32BM was the best and most affordable solution for me. My setup is reducing 9 to 10 hardness to 0 (tested) and removing all manganese and iron that were making the water smelly and hard on the water heater, dishwasher and washing machine. The shower is now pleasant and with lots of soap suds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent system/alternative for a cottage well system.
Reviewed in Canada on November 30, 2021
After the well was drilled for our remote cottage we found the water silty, dark with tannin, and with a metallic taste. Definitely not suitable for our requirements. We were originally recommended a water softening system, but I didn't want the hassle of always adding salt on a periodic basis. Besides, after research, we didn't want to contribute to the resultant pollution problem. A filtration system, with some additions, seemed the best solution to our quest to have clean water.

To address the silt and sand problem two spin down filters, in series, were added before the main filters. Germs/parasites in the water are handled by the UV filter after the filters. To reduce the hardness, resulting from magnesium and iron dissolved in the water, an "Electronic Descaler" was supplemented at the end of the configuration before it entered the cottage plumbing system..

The result; clean/clear/drinkable water. Now, the dishwasher and the washing machine results are much better without the lingering smell. Best of all, no spots on faucets or the glass doors of the shower. All this at half the cost of what they would have charged for a "water softener"

Although the replacement filters, for this particular configuration, are a bit expensive, I suspect the annual maintenance costs will be about the same for both systems ( i.e., Filtration vs. Softening). I will do the cost analysis later on since I just put in the system and it's too early to tell.

All and all, I recommend this Whole House Filtration System as it met and exceeded our requirements.
