DIY Vitamin C Serum: effective, inexpensive, easy-to-make 0
These supplies will make at least 20 serum bottles.
1. Add 15-20% less water than the bottles size.
2. Put the bottle on the scale and either mark as "tare" to set the weight on 0 or remember the starting weight.
3. Add to the bottle 5 to 15% of Ascorbic Acid in weight. Start at 5% for skin to get used. E.g. a 60 ml bottle. 50 ml of water. Max: 15% * = 7.5 mg of Ascorbic Acid.
4. Add 2 to 6 mg of glycerine for viscosity.
5. Shake. Ready. Store in a dark place. The serum is definitely good for at least one week.
The bottle type is not important.
Use test strips to check pH.
