I have had Iiyama screens for around 20 years, starting from 19 inch CRTs that weighed a tonne. This one was bought for connecting 2 laptops and a PS4. This has 3 video input ports: The PS4 connected via HDMI, one laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad X220 ) connected using DisplayPort. The other VGA type port was kept spare for testing older PC's and laptops.
Switching between video inputs is the reason I cannot give this 5 stars. The input-select and setup menu are accessed via touch sensitive areas located at the front, lower right corner of the bezel. The 5 'buttons' are labelled "", "^" (up arrow) , "V" (down arrow), "" (enter / select) and on-off. The onscreen menu itself isn't as logical as it could be. Also touching the 'buttons' wasn't responsive enough, often having to touch the 'button' several times. On too many occasions the menu annoyingly disappeared as it hadn't registered an up/down touch which then meant having to start all over again getting into the desired setting option. A small gripe you may think, but for me, it's a something that could be done better.
If you plan to connect multiple devices then do consider how you will handle the audio. DisplayPort and HDMI both carry audio but the screen's inbuilt speakers are not particularly loud if you plan to sit some distance from the monitor, for example to watch movies. I connected the audio-out jack to a small BOSE standalone speaker. However, some times I wanted to switch to headphones and found it fiddly to access the audio-out jack located at the back of the screen. It's worth buying a short male-female audio cable and leave it hanging at the back. Okay so this is not an audio device but a viewing device. But if you're going to provide speakers then Iiyama please make them worthy.
I found it a little too large for my desk (24 inch / 61cm deep) and having to sit back when using it. Screen resolution and quality are near perfect. Setting up exactly as you want it is not so easy thanks to the touch-sensitive menu access.
Might need some calibration to get the colours and lights/darks right but once you do it won't let you down.
