Ben yes it is "stand alone" take some patience and grunt work to set up auto downloads from your financial institutions.

Yes it is a stand alone program. I have used other stand alone programs for ar group I am in. They were not as difficult to set up as this one is.

Yes, but Intuit decides arbitraly when your licence is revoked. I purchased a license 10 years ago. It was working fine on my computer but one day, I received a notification from Intuit advising me that my license was expired and that I had to buy a new one. I was not able to access my financial records (10 years of archives) and therefore I was forded to buy a new licence at $120. If you go with Quicken, be conscious that you will be handcuffed.

Yes this is a stand alone program. However for some reason this version cannot print mailing addresses just the return address. They cannot seem to find a fix for it.
