Just made my second trip with this set. They are holding up great so far. I got the purple set, and they are very nice looking. The airlines did scuff one a little, but the texture of the suitcase makes it almost unnoticeable. I like the charger feature, but I don’t ever anticipate using it with the 2 larger bags. The cup hold feature is also very handy. It’s sturdy enough for an average drink. You can’t charge and use the cup holder at the same time, but I don’t think that’s a big deal. The wheels and handles all work great so far. I love the spinner wheels.
You do need to supply your own battery for charging. There is a zipper compartment and pouch in each bag, that is designed to hold your battery. You plug your battery into the cord in that compartment. Then open the cup holder and plug your charging cable into the USB port at the back of the cup holder.
Overall, this set is a great value and seems sturdy and very function. I would buy it again if I needed more luggage.
