About Kim Mackenzy Andrews
All Kim's books for children are nature themed.
'Nature's Hearts' is a book of photographs with a difference. It demonstrates a simple, fun concept that any age group will enjoy:- looking for heart shapes in nature. 'It's surprising how many hearts you can find once you start, it really becomes quite addictive.'
'Bettie & Bertie Bee' picture storybook that retells the lifecycle of the humble, bumblebee as the most delightful love story. Also, 'The Ladybird Who Lost Her Spots', 'The Wasp Without Stripes' & 'The Spider Who Couldn't Spin'. Rhyming stories introducing some of Bettie and Bertie's insect friends.
'Once Upon a Wildflower' series of fairy-tale/eco fables. Exploring many of the threats to plant biodiversity as seen through the eyes of some very contemporary fairies and their eco-hero insect friends.
When Kim is not writing she can be found walking in the countryside and taking photographs of wildflowers.
