Blog post7 Things to Keep in Mind While Homeschooling ~
Written by Melissa Camara Wilkins
As I’m writing this, it’s June. My oldest kiddo just graduated from college. (!!!) My second oldest just finished his first year of college, too.
All six kids of my kids are home for the summer, and the youngest four will be homeschooling (still, again, always) in the fall.
So while we have this little break from regularly scheduled activities, I’m thinking a lot about what we want o2 days ago Read more -

Blog post3 ways to make family vacations worthwhile ~
Written by Kari Patterson of Sacred Mundane
As I type these words we’re one-third the way through a 6-week, cross-country family road-trip, crossing 20 states and nearly 9,000 miles.
Our 15-, 13-, 3-, and 1-year-old kids are loving the adventure so far, and it’s brought us some clarity about the mission and vision for our family along the way.
Any type of vacation or excursion is costly, both in time and resources, so2 weeks ago Read more -
Blog postNext Thursday at Introverted Moms, I’ll be interviewing author Sarah J. Robinson about the topic Ruthless Self-Care. We’ll chat about self-care for our souls and guarding our mental health, even in the face of challenges like anxiety, depression, or suicidality.
It will be a deep discussion on an important topic and I would love to welcome you to Introverted Moms now if you’d like to attend! The replay will be available afterwards for anyone who can’t come live.

Blog postReflections on Your Homeschool Graduation ~
Written by Jamie C. Martin of Simple Homeschool and Introverted Moms
It’s impossible to sum up a lifetime of homeschooling in a few sentences, but I’ll try anyway.
15 years ago, I had a dream. Like many dreams, it was hopeful, idealistic, and unrealistic. It dared to reimagine what learning could look like for my three young children.
I dreamt of an educational style that would enable our relationships to deepen, that3 weeks ago Read more -

~ Written by Colleen Kessler from Raising Lifelong Learners
Homeschooling a child with ADHD (Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder) can be difficult, heartbreaking, and lonely:
“I just don’t think our group is the best fit for your family. If you want to consider leaving [your oldest] at home and just coming with the younger kids, we’d love to have you. Otherwise, I think it’s best if you found a new homeschool g1 month ago Read more -
