Love the cover choices and the idea of a kid's Kindle. Like the badge and rewards for reading.I like that my daughter has to request approval for me to authorize the download and cost. Like that my kid can look up a word and I have access to see her reading history.Dislikes: Kindle keeps freezing and have to reboot. Very limited selection of books. They don't have the Rainbow Magic Fairy series the Owl Dairies series. Some of the books she wants to buy are cheaper on paperback (Unicorn Academy are $5.99 each and not included in the membership). Mind you my kid is an avid reader and got a badge for reading 500 pages in the first week. She has maxed out on the included books she'll read. I was willing to pay for her monthly subscription indefinitely but there is not enough selection. For an avid reader, this Kindle is a waste of money.
