I don't know of a better measuring cup and spoon set anywhere, ever. I've had a few different sets by different companies. The Simply Gourmet set is aesthetically pleasing as kitchen tools go, made from stainless steel; so, durable--and, of course, will shine right back up with a little isopropyl alcohol after washing and drying. The Amazon brand is really good--The measurements are engraved and easy to read. (You might have to blow up the pictures to get a better view.) I'll likely never need another set.

Quite frankly, a perfect set of measuring cups and spoons

The measuring cups and spoons are great. I've had many different types of measuring cups and spoons over the years, and they all were lacking in some way (flimsy, hard to read, hard to clean, etc). Not so, with these stainless steel babies.

The measurement labels are not printed, they are stamped directly into the stainless steel, on both the side, and on the handles. These labels are not going to fade, flake, or fall off like the labels on some generic sets do. For example, the 1 cup measuring cup also has a 1/2 and 3/4 stamped indicators, which can be easily seen on the inside of the cup, so you 1 cup measuring cup is actually 3 cups in one. Don't worry the set includes dedicated 1/2 cup and 3/4 cup measuring cups as well.

All the cups can stack, nested into one another, for low space usage in a drawer. The handles all have a hole in them, so you can hang them individual for storage/display, or you can use the included circular metal ring clasp to keep them altogether so you won't lose any of them.

The metal spoons are just as great!

The handles for the cups and spoons have both metric and imperial measurements stamped markings on them. So whichever way your recipe is written, you are good to go. The one weird thing on them is that while the imperial measurements are lower case on the spoons, they are in upper case on the cups. Likewise, the metric measurements are in upper case on the spoons, but lower case on the cups. Perhaps that's done for readability on the smaller spoon handles. It's not a problem with functionality, it's just something my OCD noticed.

If you want to clean the cups and spoons by hand, you can. But you can also just put them in the dishwasher and the nice shiny finish stays nice and shiny! I was worried that the dishwasher detergent would dull the finish, but that's not the case. Since they're solid stainless steel, you can put them in the top rack or bottom rack in the dishwasher and not have to worry about heat drying melting or warping them (like some plastic measuring cups/spoons can do).

I highly recommend getting a set of these. The price is great, and this set is going to last so long, you'll probably give them to your kids or grandkids.

I like these measuring cups and spoons very much, they nestled together so they don’t take up much space in the drawer. I love the wide handles and the one piece construction. Other skinny handled cups I have sometimes tend to tip in my hand and spill the contents, because of the wide handles, these don’t. I also like to smooth rounded, interior of the cups. It’s easy to scrape out ALL of whatever I am measuring. Both the measuring cups and the measuring spoons have in-between increments I don’t have in my other sets, which I appreciate. Great product!

I’ve been waiting for years (until I got my new kitchen) to replace a plastic set of measuring cups/spoons with stainless ones that have both metric and English measurements. I was afraid, for the price, these would be flimsy and easily dented (therefore no longer accurate). I was pleasantly surprised by this set. It’s a thicker stainless, substantial without being bulky or too heavy. Stacks nicely, and I live that even with having the more unusually measurement increments included it ALSO has engraved measurements inside the cups, so you can use a half cup for a fourth cup measurement if youve already used the fourth cup for another ingredient. And you can accurately measure a few of the smaller odd-ball measurement too, because of the nice little extra. Considering getting my kids the same. This is the type of set that will last decades if you don’t absolutely abuse it during use.

I am really pleased with these measuring cups. I had a set of stainless steel measuring cups before but the handles were spot-welded on and over time they came off.

These cups are much higher quality because the handle is stamped from the same piece of steel as the cup itself, so each cup is all one piece of metal. The finish is excellent and the measures are stamped as well making them quite legible and permanent.
