I love Lana’s voice and I love what she writes. I have all of her music CDs. I rarely buy music CDs anymore, but her’s I will. However, with this album, some of the songs were personally triggering for me. I wish I had been forewarned. Maybe something on the cover stating some subjects may be triggering. Anyway, that’s just me.
It’s now August 2023. I just received the CD. I wasn’t sure about getting it after reacting the way I did to some of the songs. Then there were the YT video reviews of her album. OMG! Even a therapist was wigging out over some of the songs. I personally would not have done that if I were that therapist, but, hey, that’s just me. However, watching many of these response videos made me wonder if Lana had really, personally experienced what we were all picking up from some of her songs on this particular album. Many of us may recall that Lana does co-write with other artists/poets. So, were such experiences hers or theirs or both or whatever… I couldn’t find anything online that Lana may have experienced “certain things”. I don’t ever recall her mentioning such things in interviews, etc. so were we all just projecting our stuff onto her songs??? That’s not a bad thing. That’s understandable. We’re human. BUT, what was the purpose of this album? Is she trying to tell us something?
Yeah, I kept wondering if Lana was trying to tell us something specific in this album. Or maybe… some things. She gets a lot of flack it seems when she would share on social media. I cannot recall if that’s why she shut down most of her social media. If that’s the reason, personally I don’t blame her. Many of us expect her to be a certain way when she has the right to just be herself, whether we like it or not. Heck, those of us here buying her albums, didn’t we start buying them because we felt she wasn’t just speaking a language we understood, but because she was being herself. Her complex, amazing, beautiful self? When did we start putting our own demands on her to be something else? I know I did when I heard this album. And I’m sorry for it. Makes me realize I gotta deal even more directly with my stuff.
Thank you, Lana, for being yourself, whatever that is. And, yes, I thank you even while at the same time I’m not too thrilled with some of the songs on this album. All my love! Peace!

Amazing CD
I recommend getting this CD in you stores near you, but if you can’t then I definitely recommend getting this CD here. I love how the CD has Lana herself on it and the music is amazing.

La presentación del vinilo, sin embargo, creo que no llega al nivel de las canciones que contiene. No puedo reprocharle nada, sin embargo, porque había dejado el listón muy alto. No dudes que es una pieza que te gustará tener entre tu biblioteca y, de vez en cuando, poner en el tocadiscos.
El envío y embalaje estuvo muy bien. Rápido y muy bien protegido. Llegó precintado y sin ningún daño.
