I don’t wear makeup a lot anymore but when I do I like it to be easy and quick. Most eyeliners are thin and too hard. This one is soft enough you don’t have to gouge your eyes to apply it and also makes a fairly small line when sharpened. It blends easily if you want to soften edges and you can put on pretty thick if that is your thing. Added bonus is a built in sharpener. (Tip: If you find your eyeliner crumbles or mushes when you sharpen it try putting it the freezer for a while. It makes the point harder for a while which can make it sharpen better.)

I had bought several kohl pencils and couldn't get the eyeliner pencils out of the plastic packaging without breaking them, so when I was able to open and use this ELF brand, I was pleased. The in-cap sharpener works pretty well, but you do break off the kohl inside the wood, so you have to keep sharpening, though you'll never get that sharp tip again.

This is a great eye pencil. I normally purchase Urban Decay eyeliner which costs $20, but got tired of losing so much pencil when sharpening. Someone mentioned e.l.f. to me, but I wasn't sure how good it could be at this price. I'm pleasantly surprised and will continue to purchase this brand.

It's a fat shaft, but with a sharpener in the cap, it keeps a nice, thin point to apply and then blend with the reverse end. Good stuff.

It is very difficult to get a sharp point on this. It is very soft and the point that you do get wears down quickly. I think it is okay in a pinch, but I would not buy it again.
