Why did you decide to change Prime Wardrobe’s name to Prime Try Before You Buy?

We changed our program name from Prime Wardrobe to Prime Try Before You Buy to help everyone quickly understand what the program offers. Only our name has changed – none of the benefits, so you can still try on items for free for 7 days and pay for only what you keep. As always, access to our program is included with your Prime membership.

What is Prime Try Before You Buy?

Prime Try Before You Buy is a Prime-exclusive program where you can try before you buy from eligible items across women’s, men’s, kids’, and baby clothing, shoes, and accessories. You get seven days to try on the items at home and you will only be charged for the items you decide to keep.

What is the difference between Prime Try Before You Buy and Personal Shopper by Prime Try Before You Buy?

Now you have two great options to bring the fitting room home and try-before-you-buy. With Prime Try Before You Buy, you get to fill up your box with items to try on at home. Personal Shopper by Prime Try Before You Buy has the ultimate convenience of a personalized shopping experience. With either option, you can order clothing, shoes and accessories, and take seven days to decide what you love and only pay for what you keep. Returns are easy and free with our resealable packaging.

Are there any special discounts associated with Prime Try Before You Buy?

On occasion, we may extend special offers to Prime Try Before You Buy customers. If we are running a Prime Try Before You Buy promotion, but there is a better Amazon promotion available at the time of your initial order placement or at checkout, you will receive the better discount. When there is not a Prime Try Before You Buy–specific promotion running, we will honor other Amazon promotions relevant to the items in your cart at the time of initial order placement or at checkout. Discounts cannot be combined, but you will always receive the best of any applicable discounts.

Are there any fees associated with Prime Try Before You Buy?

Prime Try Before You Buy is included with eligible Prime memberships and there are no additional fees to use it. Shipping and returns are free.

What items are eligible for Prime Try Before You Buy?

Prime Try Before You Buy eligible items can be found in men’s, women’s, girls', boys', and baby clothing, shoes, and jewelry. All eligible items are shipped by Amazon.com, and we are continually adding new selection. Just look for Prime Try Before You Buy as you shop.

How many items can I try at one time?

You can try up to eight items at a time through Prime Try Before You Buy. You cannot add more than one exact item at a time to a single order (i.e., same size and color). There is no minimum dollar threshold for a Prime Try Before You Buy order.

How long is the try-on period?

Your try-on period will end 7 days from the day the last shipment of your order arrives. Before the end of the try-on period, please go to Your Orders to check out and indicate which items you are keeping and returning. You have until the end of the try-on period to postmark returns: Use the provided return label and drop off your returns at UPS.

How do I track my Prime Try Before You Buy order or return?

You can check the progress of your return shipments at the Returns Center under ‘Manage returns’. Please return all items in their original packaging to ensure quick and accurate processing.
