just a note, this is by his son

I got this AEP two days ago, and i've been able to shoot it quite a bit.

Aestheticly, its very sharp looking. Its a fairly accurate replica of the sig sauer p226 pistol, although there are a few differences worth noting. First off, this thing is FAT, due to the gearbox in the gun, so its okay i guess. The gun is also about a centimeter longer than the real thing, a small complaint, but worth noting. There IS a tactical rail, but its also wide, so it may be a bit hard to fit an attatchment if it has a smaller rail. The slide (top part of the gun) is FULL metal, aside from the sights. It seems very solid, but I haven't done any destructive tests, nor will I. The slide is removeable to reveal the barrel, hop-up adjustment mechanism (which is a wheel), and the metal gearbox.

Now for its performance report, (what you care about)

The gun claims to have 220 FPS with a 20 gram BB, and it seems accurate, but I don't have a chronograph and can't really tell the exact ammount, so look it up online as someone is bound to have tested the FPS with one. With the same .20 gram BB's, accuracy is also very nice, even on full auto. I was able to get roughly 1.5 inch target groupings at 25 feet. I also gave it a stress test by firing 200 BB's each day for two days, and it performed flawlessly, so it seems durable enough. The gun has a good trigger pull, so your aim isnt distorted that much when you fire it. The full auto mode is fun, but it empties the clip in about 3 seconds, so be a bit careful with it. The sights are....less than perfect, Ill get a picture to show you what i mean later. Lets just say its a little tricky to aim. The clip is metal, and holds 30 rounds, which is about double the capacity of cheaper, 40 dollar, AEPs.

Had this gun for about two weeks now and it performs fairly well. It's definitely not the best AEP out there, but it is the best AEP for the money, hands down. You get a rechargeable battery, it fires full auto, has a full metal slide, and it's not too hard to take apart and work on. Most of the clips, batteries, and upgrades are compatible with the CYMA (CM030) and TM glocks (g18c) which makes finding parts easier, not that I've needed anything yet but if I do, I know they are out there. I tested the FPS and was getting a solid 220 with .20's. If you're planning on playing, this makes a decent sidearm, but be aware that this thing is HUGE. It's about 50% wider than the gun it's modelling is and I hate to say it but if you have small hands you might have trouble getting your hands around it as the grip is really wide. Imagine a Desert Eagle when sizing this thing. The thing is really heavy too, which might be a plus if you like it to feel solid. The sights could be better, but the back sights are removable so you could put something better there if you wanted. Also for playing you're going to need a bigger clip (or 4-6 small clips) if you plan on using this in more than the most dire situations, as it only holds thirty rounds and you can go through that in about 3 seconds. TM has a hi-cap mag that's really nice but I would stay away from the CYMA hi-caps. Accuracy is good, not perfect, but for the speeds it shoots, it's fairly accurate up to 50 feet. I can usually hit a 9" target 6/10 times at about 55'. Add full auto and you can definitely nail someone who's running in CQB. If you just want to shoot targets (especially indoors) this is a great gun for that because of the rechargeable battery, you'd probably be able to reuse most BB's (with a sticky target) and it's not too loud. Overall this is a pretty decent weapon if you're looking for something that gets the job done and doesn't cost a fortune.

Would recommend to be very careful of the safety system of this product. The safety works fine, but accidently pull to hard on the trigger with the safety engaged and it will pop the tabs on the trigger assembly making it non-functional. Otherwise, the AEP works as advertised and the kids love the automatic fire.

this is a great pistol, i did just receive it today, but i must admit, it has a great feel to it, and will shoot 100 feet, but be more accurate at tops 80 feet, i use .20 Air Venturi CQBBs 6mm biodegradable airsoft BBs, and after a few mins with messing with the hop up, its even more accurate than it was out of the box. The battery was a little charged out of the box, enough for 7 and a half mags, before it went completly dead, so i charged it, which took 2 and a half hours before its was fully charged, i wouldnt suggest much more than that, this gun it very durable and has no wiggle to it, has a realistic weight, and is mostly metal, i would suggest buying the Airsoft CYMA CM030 magazine here: B001MOT3LU because they work on all of the CYMA CM electric pistols, but this gun will empty a mag pretty fast, especially on full auto. mags are metal, and fit perfectly. i would say my only problem with this gun, is the safety, it does work, but not as much as you would want, when you flip the safety on, and tug on the trigger lightly it does not fire, so this is good if it maybe catches barely on something, maybe in your holster or pouch, but if you used your finger, and applied a little more pressure, it will come of safety, although that would not keep me away from this gun, just thought i would mention it. 5 Stars.
