It seems to shoot harder than some of my other guns like my Walther P99 which says it shoots 250 FPS. I attached a cheap, but nice NCstar 4x20 scope onto the sight leaf of the gun and with that I can nail an 8 inch target from 100 feet away with ease. the trick was getting the scope snug and strait on the sight leaf which took a little work seeing as your rely not supposed to mount something there, but it works great. The slide is hard to pull back, so make sure it clicks before you let go or you will double load the thing. Make sure you check that all the screws are tight, some of them were lose on my gun. I got this gun from "Airsoft Mega Toys" for $25 with a 30 Day warranty for full refund or replacement.

Pros:
heavy metal everywhere but the grip plates which still look nice anyway.
accurate
24 bullet mag
Nice working hammer with cool click sound
Shoots about 260-270 FPS not 240 as advertised (:
Adjustable metal sight leaf
You can buy wood Mauser C96 grips online (for the real gun) that fit this gun.

Con turned Pro?: The safety switch does not lock in place, but when the gun is holstered the safety falls into position so it won't go of even if cocked in the holster, but when you pull the gun out to shoot it falls back to the fire position so you don't have to touch it to be ready to fire! Happy coincidence. (:

Cons:
Slide is hard to cock especially with a scope mounted on the sight leaf which is on the slide. |:
mag takes a while to load, but at least it holds 24 rounds.|(:
Orange ring on the end very easy to remove, but this messes up the finish on tip of the barrel.
This gun is heavy

This gun is great! Has a clip that pops out, a working safety and a working hammer. Has a grove in the back of the handle for a stock, (if you can find one)!! This thing has wood covers for the handle and is all meatal! I was suprise about the power it has. I shot a box about 20 to 30 feet away and the beebe stuck in the box! This gun is also great for a movie prop with some paint and tweaking it would look as real as they come! Great price, great buy! Great for using or having as a show piece!

The one I received is great! 100 pellets and some hard knocks already and no problems, I just wish there were extra magazines. I happy with mine.

The gun came in today and i was extremely excited (it was also 2 days late) so you can imagine the high hopes i had.
I opened the box and was in shock of how awesome it looked. However as i removed the gun from the box my hopes plummeted. It was scratched in three different places (in large quantities) but that wasnt too bad. Moving on the magazine, the spring was a full inch too short so about 6 bb's would not load at all. When i took it out to fire, the adjustable sights (not adjustable at all) FELL OFFFFFF!!!!! I then coked the gun and the barrel was too small to fit the bb! So i slightly forced the bb into the chamber and fired. nothing happened. I fired again. nothing. the gun will NEVER FIRE! i took out the magazine, i noticed the spring was split in half so no bbs load anymore. i havew to flip the gun upside down in order to force a round into the chamber to fire it (due to tthe open breach, the bb falls out half the time and the other bbs that make it to the chamber dont fire). Overall the gun sucks. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is because it does well, for what I bought it for. The weight is nice and it closely mimics the Mauser 712 automatic pistol. The plastic grip is not painted either, it is how it looks the whole way through and if sanded is even better.

HOWEVER: As an airsoft gun, as somebody who used to do it, I would have been quite angry. To be perfectly honest, I just had to shoot it a few times when I got it. It fell apart internally within 4 shots. 2 of those shots had double loaded and a 5th and 6th actually did not chamber at all and instead fell into the gun. Also, the flip up sight is a second piece, however, some genius decided to add a little lip which prevents it from raising, but you will feel it move and try to move it, when you do, it will break. If you remove the lip, it actually works perfectly well and does not interfere with the function at all. Why somebody added that lip is beyond me and seems like a waste of time and materials.

If you are buying this gun because it looks "cool," a few simple changes will make it into a great prop, if you are buying it as an airsoft gun, I would look for something in plastic or a metal gun that is of a higher quality. 3 years ago when I did airsoft I bought a few plastic guns by the same company to use as back-ups and truthfully I ended up using them a lot more than my expensive ones, just because they worked and I often found myself in situations where changing a magazine was slower than drawing one of them. They are not perfect, but they work.

This gun has an incredibly realistic weight and paint job to it. also, the moveable sight on the back actually works unlike the lower quality airsoft versions of this gun. I used mine as a prop in this 10 second video: [...]
