I am Korean and I am so glad this is available on Amazon Prime as I no longer live in South Korea. About a couple of years living in America (devoid of "traditional" spa time back home), I 'learned' my skin had Keratosis pilaris. I never knew that until these magical washcloths were gone in my life. Lol So I had been getting them in my care package from momma back home but I am so glad I don't have to bug her about it anymore. (I don't live in a area with a Koren supermarket.) This miraculous cloth is supposed to be tight fitting so it doesn't slip away from your hand. And you are also not supposed to use it on the face (even the green one) but some Koreans do that, I won't. Also you are suppose to use it no more than once a week! I read other reviewers talking about using it 3-4 times a week, I just hope they have skin made of iron. Red color is rougher and is for more experienced people or for rough parts like elbow and feet. Hope it helped.

What I mean is I seriously cannot stop touching my skin. I'm so soft!! I'm so soft, I'd make a baby feel like a cactus! The Korean Italy Towel is AMAZING. It makes me feel like polished silk, it's amazing!

So these are commonly used in Korean spas which Koreans culturally go to once a week to pamper themselves but also get rid of all the buildup from a week's work. They soak in hot water for about 15 to 30 minutes and use one of these babies to scrub all that dead skin away and my god, does it do a fantastic job.

THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT SOMETHING TO BE USED DAILY. Its exfoliating prowess is that serious! I've noticed the negative reviews are from users who did not prepare correctly or outright used it incorrectly. There is a definite preparation ritual before you use the KIT: Soak in hot water for at least 15 minutes to prep your skin for easier and more fruitful exfoliation!! This is IMPORTANT! And do NOT ever use it on your face. Yeowch!

The first time I used it, which was last week, I hadn't exfoliated in awhile so my body was definitely ready. I had a long day at work and was pleased to find the package containing the towels at my doorstep. I got a tub of nice and hot water ready, metaphorically boiled myself alive for about 20 minutes, and used the green towel on my shin. Immediately, the towel made the dead skin ball up and it was gross but also really intriguing and addicting!

After awhile, I finally got my entire body scrubbed/polished by the towel, drained the tub, and did a final rise of my body. If you're going to do this, definitely do it on cleaning day because your tub will not be as pretty as it was when you first came in.Read more ›

I am very pleased with my purchase!

I suffer from rough, dry, and discolored knees,elbows, and ankles :( and this has made a drastic improvement on these areas in just a few uses!

I had trouble with using the product at first because the directions are in Korean. What worked best for me was taking a hot shower and just enjoying the hot water for a few minutes and letting steam build up in the shower. Once you've soaked for a few minutes begin to rub the wet towel on your skin (before soaping up depending on how dirty you are before bathing). It may hurt a little, but you should rub firmly and you will begin to see dead skin roll off. I'm still not sure what side of the towel is supposed to be used, but I got the best results when I used the towel when it looked as if it were inside-out. After using the towel all over I bathed normally and moisturized.

note: I believe a hot shower or bath is key to removing dead skin with this towel. The first time I used the towel I took a warm shower and I had no dead skin come off ( I thought I was so clean the towel wasn't working, boy was I wrong :P). I tried again in a hot shower and got the results I was looking for.

Do not be scared if you can't read the packaging.

I was first introduced to the "scrubby washcloth mitt" at an amazing spa. After watching a disturbing amount of dead skin rub away and feeling like a new person after the scrub, I HAD to buy one to take home. I now use one every day, and I swear it has improved my skin and reduced the instances of ingrown hairs in regularly shaved areas.

Each cloth is about 5" x 5" and sewn on three sides so you can wear it like a mitt while scrubbing. The texture is similar to sandpaper, and I think the color indicates the grit. The green ones are soft enough to use on my face, but it takes a light touch. I recommend a long hot shower before using these, and actually scrubbing without soap. (Soap seems to lessen the sandpaper effect.) You will seriously be able to watch a layer of dead skin roll off, and afterwards your skin will be soft and clean like a baby.

Another great thing is that they are a synthetic material, so they dry quickly and don't stink like a regular cotton washcloth. Very handy for travel. I just leave one in the shower and every few weeks, toss and replace.

I would absolutely consider this to be a real 5-star product. If you like salt/sugar scrubs and other exfoliating products, I would highly recommend trying these.
