Well.
Pros: It plays the notes.

Cons:
There's only one octave.
There a mild selection of sounds.
Customization is limited.
The percussion sound doesn't have a snare.

If you're looking for a piano app, there are much better ones out there.

this app was exactly the same as the free version and was pretty lame. I'm sure if you had a little kid it would be a great piano but if your looking for more advanced settings go elsewhere

I downloaded Little Piano (pro) to my Kindle Fire, and it installed and ran just fine. The developer's description says: "Little Piano (pro) is perfect for kids' little fingers and makes a great introduction to piano-playing for those who don't read music." I agree with that. I don't play any musical instruments, but it was pretty easy (and fun) to knock out a few tunes on the large keyboard. Better still, two of our young nieces were with us this morning, since they're out of school for Christmas. They had a great time playing "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" on the keyboard.

The app includes about two dozen songs that can be played by touching whichever key is highlighted. There are also five different instruments to choose from, including piano, trumpet, guitar, bells, and percussion. Piano is by far the best and most realistic sound, at least to my ears.

Little Piano doesn't claim to be a comprehensive piano emulator. With only one octave and fourteen keys (8 white, 6 black), the music that can be produced is limited. The app is rated "Children," which is defined by Amazon as ages 9 and younger, so I think that's how it should be evaluated. With that in mind, I have no problem giving Little Piano a 5-star rating.

Disclaimer: Got it as the free app of the day on the Kindle Fire

I have to say, I was surprised at the problems with this app, even for 99 cents. It wasn't much fun to try and play songs or to follow along with it: the only joy I had was in banging on the keys as quickly as I can. That loses its appeal rather quickly.

Pro:
+ The piano and piano (old) voices sound nice
+ Keyboard works OK for the most part. I can even slide my finger up and down the keyboard and have the notes play!
+ Plays OK if you're just fiddling around and not trying to make a melody

Con:
- Hard to play a tune which has a fast rhythm to it.
- Different instruments have uneven volume. For example, when I switch from piano to guitar, I can't hear guitar whereas at the same volume I could hear the piano just fine.
- 'Play along' mode is very abrupt in transition to new note, especially when following multiple instances of the same note. I had trouble being able to play the song at the right rhythm, and telling which keys came next.
- Misspellings and inconsistent capitalization in the song list. I was surprised by this as it's basic quality control, makes me wonder what else was missed.
- Keyboard drawing is simple rectangles in my version, almost looks like an abstract piano. It would have been trivial to make it look a little nicer, matching its icon.

Overall I don't think this is the piano app I want on my fire. I'm going to delete it and keep looking.

I got the app because it was free and it nothing special. I guess a child may enjoy it for a while.

Not enough keys, Keeps my three year old entertained, that's about all it's good for. Locked up my Samsung galaxy s2 after selecting percussion mode.

This app looked fun so I decided to give it a try. I downloaded this app for free when it was the free app of the day a while back on the Amazon App store. I used it several times and it worked well as advertised at the time. I tried it out for a while but just didn’t find myself getting very engaged in it. Not too say it was a bad app, it just wasn’t for me. As far as the app itself goes it seemed to be made well, worked as advertised, and ran well on my phone. At the time I had a Galaxy Note 1 and it worked well on that. After a few weeks I found myself uninstalling the App from my phone as it just didn’t appeal to me anymore and I lost interest in it.

I tend to lose interest in things really quickly if they aren’t very engaging and this just wasn’t holding my interest. This is just my opinion though and your opinion may vary. It can be hard to judge with apps sometimes what will grab someone’s attention and keep them going back to it. I would say give it a try if you’re into this type of App and think it looks interesting. Go ahead and give it a shot. You’ve really got nothing to lose right? After all, if you don’t like it all you have to do is uninstall.

I hope this was helpful. If so, please consider clicking the "yes" button below.
Thank You!

I could have designed something better!!! If this doesn't convince you that this is garbage then consider the fact that I have no experience in programming, in fact I'm willing to say that my dog could do better.

Any lets get right to the point, this things application picture looks better than the application, after all the programmer deemed that several white and blue blocks that occasionally flash blue is enough to fill your phone/tablet's screen, and is enough to make this garbage a paid app. Also if you press 3 buttons slightly quickly then the noise emmited from the "piano" starts to crackle and turns indistinguishable.

And the final thing that makes this a unworthy of being an application is the replayability value as this provided entertainment for about 5 minutes until I decided to uninstall this.
