Okay, let me start by saying I absolutely LOVED Outlander (Book 1), but Dragonfly in Amber (Book 2) was lacking something for me. While it was still a great book, it just didn't have some of that initial pizzazz I felt when I first started the series. Voyager found that "Something" and then some.
I absolutely love Jamie and Claire. I love them as individuals, but their dynamic as a couple is what makes me swoon. As much as I want Jamie for myself, there is no one for him except for Claire.
Voyager has so many different elements, I don't even know where to begin. It's a beautifully complex, well-written (Diana's writing style is brilliant), captivating journey that spans the ages and stretches the heart.
There are so many moving parts to this story, but you don't get lost. It all comes together in a whirlwind of awesomeness. I loved Outlander before, but my love has multiplied with Voyager.
Well done, Mrs. Gabaldon. I can't wait to dive in to the next book.
