On numerous occasions, I was unable to complete my homework out if this book because of missing information in the chapter sections. In place of the needed information is a URL for the student companion site, which brings you to a blank page. For the price of this book, all of the information should be in the book. Having to go online for missing information defeats the purpose of having a physical textbook. I'm noticing that more and more, textbook companies are deliberately leaving information out required to complete the end of chapter problems. They then include this information in the instructor solution manuals that students can not access. Perhaps this is to create job security for teachers, but it makes the learning experience futile if you have a bad instructor. So if you are one of those students who is forced to self learn because of a bad instructor, I suggest you avoid this book unless you can find a pirated solution manual to go with it.
