The wire thingy that came with the pot is kinda Haredim to clean if you cook chicken on it, but so is the silicone sling. However I do prefer the sling. I’m an 83 yr old guy who doesn’t know squat about cooking so take what I say and file it under F for foolish old dude. I bought this pot last Xmas and without it I would not have made it thru this pandemic. 😜
