I paid a little more than I wanted to for this toy, so I wish it has lasted a little longer than it did. However, it's not the train's fault my toddlers were pretty rough with it. It withstood their tosses and knock-over's for a few weeks before the poor thing stopped traveling around the floor and began, instead, to do some weird, epileptic jig in place. For a while, though, it was my toddler's favorite toy on Christmas. I was impressed by how it was able to correct itself when there was an object in it's path and continue it's bubbly fun without my kids having to manually adjust it. The music was more preferable to the sirens that the similar fire truck played, but it is pretty hard to ignore after a while. Still, despite it's longevity, it gave everyone here a lot of happiness and some good words from Santa. I would say it's definitely worth it if you get it for $15 rather than the $26 I paid.
