I always knew I felt better if I stayed away from sugar and flour, and now I know why. A very good book, written by a cardiologist, and backed up by ample studies. I have tried his method of eating without the sugar and flour as much as possible in and in maybe 6 or 7 months I have lost about 50 lbs. It is coming from the middle of my body for the most part, but other places as well. The only thing I disagree with is he is not big on fruit. I think fruit is essential because it provides a lot of micro-nutrients you don't get anywhere else and they are critical to health. Other than that a good book and very easy to implement a basic plan of avoiding wheat and sugar as best you can. I feel better, have fewer aches and pains and more energy. Read it!
