I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 LS w/5.3. After 34 years of driving old work trucks, this is my 1st Chevy, and like many others I discovered the Chevy issue of rusted out exhaust manifold bolts. Frustrating to say the least since not one of my other trucks ever had this problem even though I'd run them til they were 15-20 yrs old. Anyhow, I installed this on the front passenger side of the motor. It was a 10 minute job and worked perfect. Unfortunately, by silencing the ticking there I immediately heard it on the drivers side rear lol, so I ordered another right away. I haven't installed it yet but I'm sure it'll work just as well. This is a very heavy, well made part by a good company, and a much cheaper alternative than the $1000 a garage wanted to replace the bolts.
