Used this maybe three times. first two times I used it was to check if a bolt is snug. The reason I checked it was because I didn't have this tool at the time so I ordered it and checked it when I received the item.
The third time I actually needed it for something else but still related the cars. And before I start applying alittle bit of torque to snug the bolt down, the internals literally just disintegrate in front of me and the whole wrench falls apart.
I buy alot of tools off amazon to get the most bang for the buck and I thought gear wrench was high quality. This tool tells me it's the furthest thing from it.
I was able to piece it back together and hold it in to get the job done but I'll never use it again because 1 hour of my time went to trying to get this thing back together and not happen again.
I've never had any issues with the tools i bought from Amazon. I am a weekend wrenching warrior and the tools I buy tools that I have to depend on. Do not depend on this tool.
I went to O'Riley's and picked a thru socket set up and it's worked better
