I placed an order of almost 300 vacation photos. They arrived several days early, but... The vacation was two weeks long, and I expected the photos to come to me in a linear sequence. Instead, it was as if the sequence had been shuffled dozens of times. It took me 4.5 hours to put the prints in order. I checked to see if the uploading process shuffled the pics. To a minimal degree, it did, but the prints delivered were far more disordered than the uploaded project was. It was exhausting re-ordering that many pics. As I re-ordered them, I also noticed that around two dozen pictures -- most of the ones I was most excited to see -- were printed in darker shades and lighting than the digital images reflect. I saw another reviewer comment on the darkening of printed photos, and should not have discounted that review. I tried to call to find out about re-printing, but gave up after a lengthy hold: "All agents are busy helping other customers." The excitement that propelled me to spend $85 to get nice luster prints was completely crushed by the non-sequencing and the disappointing attention to color and light in the finished product. The paper and finish are excellent, but that did not help the quality control of the actual printing process. I will not order prints from Amazon again, and offer this caution to others who may be considering it.
