I have just about every bio written about the 60"s era astronauts and when I saw this one I was excited to get it. And it's started out good until I got to the part where it was claimed that Wernher Von Braun was not a member of the Nazi party. He most certainly was. After that it was claimed that Gene Kranz wanted to be in Apollo 1 for the test . He didn't, it was Deke Slayton. From there the book lost all credibility to me. What a disappointing read.
