This is a must have tool for anyone that needs a trim and rough planning tool. I remodel and almost all the time the established construction is not square. This tool will trim flush with floor or wall. I have used it to shave down a stud to improve square. Like a plunge cut only at 45 degrees and just touching the surface. I previously owed a Rockwell corded unit for 15 years. I decided to buy the cordless. It is quieter and is lighter as well as oscillates at a higher rate. The variable speed is very responsive. The Quik Release is great no tool is needed to change from offset to straight. If you are sanding with the attachment it works well in the corners on raised or recessed panel doors. The scrapper attachment works well when lifting old tile or linoleum. I have been using the Dewalt for about 6 months still happy and would buy another one if needed. ETC.
