The hardest part for us was connecting the "Ant In" which is on the back of our Smart TV. It's wall mounted - so we had to take it off the wall anchors, and then put it back on the wall anchors. Not as easy as it sounds, but doable. Once that was safely accomplished, it was really easy to channel search, and the channels that the antenna found came in clearly. Most of the channels aren't of interest (around 24), but did include the ones we're most interested in - such as sports, news, PBS (around ten or twelve). Am now buying another one for our other tv. Depending on where you live, you may get more or less channels, so definitely use the suggested website and do a search before your purchase. We're pretty urban, so may have better results than others.
