I bought this DVD player expressly for the connectivity via WiFi to streaming services, since I do not have a smart TV. The connectivity is absolutely horrible. Every time I try to watch a Netflix or Amazon Prime streamed program, the image freezes and is disrupted, every time! Sometimes the unit itself stays frozen, and I have to unplug it to clear the problem. The problem is clearly in the DVD player itself. My desktop computer and modem are alongside the player. When I watch streaming programs on my computer, the signal is strong and clear, and I never have any problems. You get what you pay for. I now regret not spending more to get a higher quality player. The DVD/Blue Ray function works fine, so if that's all you're interested in, I guess the player is okay.
