The good stuff: They're single piece construction, no places for mold to hide, and sturdy. They dry out easily, and most importantly, my 2 year old loves them.
The meh: They're advertised to connect together as a train, which my daughter loves doing, but the connection is so loose that the slightest movement of the water causes them to come apart. It'd be nice to see a better connection. But not a deal breaker.
A lot of the negative reviews fixate on the fact that these easily tip over and the connection between boats is tenuous at best. My advice: Look at these through the eyes of a 2 year old who doesn't necessarily know which way they're supposed to float. They are solid, they work as scoops for pouring water, they have little holes in the top for sprinkling water, and all in all I'd highly recommend.
