I'm a residential arborist, and everything around me is hearing loss loud, these ear muffs are super comfy, super light, and super quiet. I don't feel any part touching my ear when they are on. Once you put them on your hard hat you'll need a screwdriver to get them back off, believe that. They are exactly what I was looking for, and for only $20 you can't beat that. If they ever break I will definitely buy another pair.
