I'm always trying to squeeze information on the tabs of manila folders, so when I saw these at comparable prices to regular manila folders, it seemed like a no-brainer. I realized the problem as soon as I tried to load them in the filing cabinet. When I tried to stuff a bunch of blanks into a hanging folder, the width of the stack caused the hanging folder to spread, which essentially causes the bottom of the hanging folder to rise. Due to the extra height of the tabs, the file cabinet drawer wouldn't close.
If you're only putting one or two of these in each hanging folder, and you're not stuffing them full of paperwork, they should still work. If you don't hang them at all they'd be great. If, like me, you tend to stuff hanging folders full of paperwork, stick to normal tabs.
