This third book in The Wedding Pact Trilogy is a fun, crazy tale that includes a runaway bride who believes in a wedding pact made with her two best friends when they were nine years old and a subsequent curse. Dashing out of the church, Libby jumps in a car driven by her best friend, Noah, and tells him to just “Drive.” So begins a road trip to oddball tourist sites from Missouri to Las Vegas with the bride still in her wedding gown for most of the ride. Both Libby and Noah are dealing with issues with self-worth that are finally resolved, but not until after one of the nuttiest wedding scenes ever and some meddling by two sassy, brassy grannies.
The first book in this series was sweetly funny. The second book was more of a skirmish between two strong, competitive lovers. And although this story has the requisite tender, romantic moments, it is laugh-out-loud, tear-inducing hilarious. It’s a total blast you can’t help but enjoy. I heartily recommend it.
