The storyline was fun, the characters had diverse personalities, and the writing was pretty good, however, a good editor would help this book tremendously. There were very few typos, which is great, but a huge amount of missing commas, changing POVs without warning, and wrongly italicized sentences made reading it difficult. I found myself rereading several sentences to figure out what was happening.
The storyline had its issues too. Toward the end, when Dylan is trying to win her back, it felt way too easy. There wasn't enough inner dialogue to explain why she accepted him back so quickly, with little questioning and so on. And the last thing... As the soon to be president's daughter and stepson, you'd think they'd keep their relationship under wraps. A lot of people would disagree with a step sibling romance and it would ruin their dad's chances.
