I really enjoyed and took to heart most of this book. Overall, I recommend it to anyone seeking a happier life. If you read either of the "Hands Free" books and benefited from those, I would definitely recommend this easy read.
In one section alone (Renewal, New Habits, and Growth) I took four pages of typed notes.
"If you could change the way this day is going, would you? Try one different element. It might just be the start of a better way of life."
That one line made me stop in my tracks. It could be that easy to change the way my day (week, life) was going.
Another section that hit home for me was "Gratitude, Grace, and Awareness." I constantly worry that I am not spending enough quality time with my daughter because I am working so much. Then when I am with her, I am drained and exhausted. This section changed my view point of the time I have with her.
Another section "Winter", which was about going through rough periods, didn't make it into my notes at all. I think it all has to do with which season of life you in.
