Let me start by saying that I was very sceptical about this book. I thought twice and more before actually ordering it. However, it turned out to be one of the best books I ever read. The breathtaking story of the Chicago World Fair and H.H.Holmes took me away. Incredible details of both events in the history made the story realistic and left room for imagination at the same time. It is hard to believe how Fair and murderer could be connected and it was hard to find the connection. Though, every second spend reading the book made the story more clearer. When reading the last part, I had goose bumps. While this book includes many historic references I enjoyed those. This is not a typical mystery novel; it is a deep journey into human mind and its depth.
