Good intro to series, no typos. I love that this book takes place in New England, specifically Newport, Rhode Island. I've had the pleasure of going to Bellevue Avenue and could totally picture the house and all the scenes that the author describes. The issues with the sister and Step-mother were predictable. I enjoyed the story of Callie and Dylan. The chemistry was believable. I wanted more of a back story on how Dylan's mom met the Senator. While the story could easily have been ripped from the headlines, the outcome wasn't very realistic to me. I was perplexed by the characters of Rachel and Ashley mentioned at the wedding as bridesmaids. Who are they and where did they come from? They weren't ever mentioned in the book until that one sentence. It appears that the series is about the siblings and the friends. While the series shows promise, I'm not sure that I want to know anymore about anyone other than Dylan and Callie. If they have a cameo in the other books I'll consider it. It was a good read for a free book, and great for the beach, pool, or a vacation.
